MYTHS & FACTS ABOUT MOBILE TOWER ANTENNAE RADIATION : PART IX

MYTH :

IIT 24 professors say Radio Frequency radiations are non ionising EMR and they cant break chemical bonds or cause ionisation in the human body.

FACT :

These 24 Researchers CV should be checked if they have worked in the field of areas of microwave and antennas and associated with health hazards. We have reliable information that none of them have any experience in this field. We request you to check.

These Professors should refer to one of their colleague 's presentation
"Mobile Telephony Tower Radiation: Some Issues" by Prof. Sujoy K. Guha , IIT Kharagpur

Funding by Industry also makes the Scientists in India the mouthpieces of the Industry as basically they need funds from the Industry. IITs have got more than Rs 25 crore funding from the Cellular Industry and some of them are also  Board Members in Cellular Operators companies.

Let these 24 scientists from IITs refer to International Research of world’s leading researchers like Prof. Ross  Adey and Dr. Henry Lai of USA.

Operators funding Indian Research or donating funds to IITs will turn their backs if Indian Research also did not support their claims as done by them in USA

BRAIN TUMOURS USA Researchers:

Prof Ross Adey

Prof Ross Adey , a biologist had his funding withdrawn by Motorola before completing the research which showed that mobiles affected the number of brain tumours in animals due to Electro Magnetic Field Radiation.
Dr. Henry Lai

Dr. Henry Lai who has been studying the biological effects of electromagnetic fields for over 20 years , was asked three times to change findings on how they caused DNA breaks in rats .

IMPACT OF FUNDED AND NON FUNDED RESEARCH ON RESULTS OF STUDIES

Is there an impact of Funds on the results of Research Studies?

Yes says Chris Busby and Roger Coghill in 2006 Cell Phone Biological Studies Results given in Slide below.

·      71 % of Industry Funded Studies showed No Effect
·      69 % of Non Industry Funded Studies showed Effect
