MYTH :
"He
said that the Government has stipulated fine of Rs. 10 lakh for violation and
imposed a penalty of more than Rs.10 crores till now for exceeding the
prescribed limit for radiation from telecom towers
FACTS :
This
means collecting of fines is more important than protecting the health of
Citizens of India. Please remember you are OF the people elected to Power BY
the people to act FOR the people.
Please
dont forget the Citizens after getting the Power.. You will have to come back
to the Citizens for your VOTE.
Considering
the Rs 5 lakhs earlier fine and Rs 10 lakhs (collected or not who knows) new
fine what is it that the Minister is saying is that 100 to 200 Tower sites were
above norms and out of the thousands of sites of which 70% are illegal and many
more thousands of antennae were fined . Please correct me if my arithmetic and
conclusion is wrong.
I am sure
the DoT knows how many lakhs of Mobile Towers are already installed in the
country and what is the percentage of these 200 Towers of the Total.
Is it
something to be proud of and shout from roof tops. We will come in the later
parts Norms v/s Actual Radiation Levels at ground level.
What is
more important Norms on Paper or Actual radiation levels at ground level.
